Zero-Knowledge Privacy.
Effective Date: Now. And forever.
Let's make this brutally simple.
I hate modern tracking. I hate "anonymous analytics telemetry." I hate companies that scrape your workflow to train their massive server-side language models. The contents of your clipboard are arguably the most sensitive data matrix on your entire computer—passwords, API keys, private emails, financial records.
1. Nothing leaves your Mac.
Pasty does not contain a single line of networking code designed to "phone home." There are no crash reporters, no PostHog loops, no Google Analytics scripts embedded in the Swift binary. Pasty communicates exclusively with macOS APIs and your local storage drive.
2. AES-256 Storage
Your clipboard history is strictly sandboxed. Data is funneled locally via Apple's `CryptoKit` and locked natively to your device schema. It cannot be extracted by third-party Electron tools or external background tasks. When you delete a record from Pasty, it is cryptographically annihilated.
3. Website Analytics
This website operates exactly like the app. You'll notice there are no cookie-consent banners, right? That's because I don't use cookies, I don't use tracking pixels, and I don't care about "conversion metrics."
